After years of work and putting things off and giving up on my previous hosting and site building systems I have finally finished version 3 of I Love ゆ . There are over 300 various sento and hot springs in Japan and the USA listed now.
I've been in Japan for just about 10 years now and my love of sento began as soon as I got here. My hope is that this site will help introduce sento to a wider audience and keep this unique aspect of Japanese life alive for generations to come. It is sad that over the years, and in particular just since January, I have learned of five of the sento on this site closing. I leave their reviews online just as other Japanese sento sites do to preserve the memories of these places.
Now that I have this framework all built I am looking forward to adding new content not just about sento and onsen but also about traveling in Japan on the cheap and finding those off the tourist track places that I love.
Thank you for reading and I'm looking forward to doing more and more with this site from now.
