Review:Seemingly the most active sento in Ise. They had towels for sale and an amazing amount of stuff to look at in the sitting area. Inside the baths was a great surprise. The design, despite being only one floor reminded me of Tako-yu in Toyonaka. On a shelf in the middle of the bathing area between the men's and women's sides was a recreation of the Meotoiwa. The small, barely 2 person big, outdoor bath is filled with trucked in sea water and it feels great. A rare thing. The water was not as sharp as Minatoshio in Sakai, so, if you have been there and was turned off by it, please give this one a try. There is also a steam sauna that I enjoyed.

Review:Amazing little sento with a lot of unique features. There are two doors to enter from the changing room to the bath. Every bath cold water spout, but you had to hold it down so I do not know how effective it was. There is a sign above every washing station that said you can drink all the water in this sento. This is rare. Typically the shower water is no good to drink. A sign in the changing room saying that the well water from 50 meters below ground and that it was tested as being good to drink. The test was also recently performed. When I first got in the baths here I thought something was different. After a few years of doing this, you can tell a quality well when you get in. Other quirky stuff. The shoe boxes are actually actually after you step up into the front area. As I did not see that, I just left my shoes in the entryway a like the other guests. There was a lot different tiles and different shapes I had not seen before. The wall between the men's and women's bath had brick like tile in a color I've not seen before. If only this sento had a cold water bath I would have put it in my top 10. Instead, I had to do the fill up a bucket with cold water from the from the faucet and dump over my head a few times to cool down. Still this is an amazing sento in an amazing city. Worth a visit for anyone who likes quality well water.
