ReviewClosest bath to Tottori Station. Amazing water. Super, super hot bath. It's great if you go during the cold winter here. Close enough to get there and back while waiting for the next train leaving Tottori station. 1:30 should be enough time if you walk fast and don't spend too much time in the baths. I love this place.

Review:Interesting municipal hot spring and pool along the coast. Although it is called "Sakyu" it is a good 10 minutes drive from the main Tottori Sand Dunes National Park entrance. This was originally run by the Fukube city before it was combined into Tottori city so that may explain why it is so far away from the other sand dune related things. Fukube is the big onion growing locality and you can see the sandy fields in front of the hot spring entrance.The building is a bit old but still pleasant. It does have a very municipal feel and smell to it. There is a display room for when the Emperor visited here years ago.Both men and women's sides have large windows in the baths looking out on the Japan sea and the pine tree lined coastline. It is one of the best views I have enjoyed in a bath. The design is pretty basic with a large hot spring bath and a much smaller cold water one. The spring water here is quite good. It first give you a strong slippery sense then becoming squeaky on the skin after a while.Worth a visit if you are in the area.
