ReviewNenohana Onsen is a great day spa just far enough from the city to make it fun for day trip, but also close enough to get to it in the evening for most people in the Keihanshin + Nara area. The rotenburo here is HUGE. Seriously huge. I've seen more than a few supersento advertising that they have the largest rotenburo in Kansai and always have been skeptical of them. Nenohana really does have a rotenburo that makes you go wow. The indoor bath is pretty big too! Oh yea, and the spring water here is quality. It is one of those places you just immediately know that you are lucky to have special spring water to bathe in. Not a long walk from Higashiyama station on the Kintetsu Ikoma line. It is just that far out of the way to make traveling out there for the water that much more enjoyable.

ReviewA short walk from Ikoma station and the only easily accessible sento along the Keihan line till you get to Nara. This is a gem. One of the places that have that living museum feel. Sadly, it's pretty worse for wear. Try getting out here before it closes down.
