Review: Extremely municipal meaning there are almost no decorations. A few benches and well-worn sofa decorate the changing room. Inside there is only a smallish mosaic of a European mountain scene. Unlike other sento, it has no English signage anywhere. This place is built for and used by the locals. It seemed like everyone there knew each other and were continuing their conversations from the previous night! Since the name under various posters in the facility said Daifuku Public Bathing Committee, I was unsure if this was municipal or not. The lady collecting the tickets confirmed that the bathhouse was run by the city. Even though I will call this a sento, it is more like a municipal bathhouse. Looking at the construction it could survive the biggest earthquake this area could throw at it! As far as baths go it was simple with a strange design making some locations harder to access than others. A medium deep bath, a shallow bath and two jets is all on offer here. I enjoyed my visit for exploration, but there is nothing really to see here. However, this is a very cheap option, if you are in the area. Visit Date: November 2020
