Review: A beautiful sento with amiable owners and an exciting design. While small, it has everything one would want. The floor undulates to help it drain nicely, but the baths are also in curved organic shapes giving the entire space movement. Some good jets are located along the back wall corner and shoot you right below the shoulder blade. The small outdoor area has a broken waterfall bath, but there is a strong, opaque brown colored herb bath. The steam sauna was strong enough, and the smell reminded me of pools in the United States. There's also a great cold-water bath that overflows nicely when you get into it—and it refills quickly so you can repeat the experience. The bubble bath seats 3 people in a way that feels like the deck of a spaceship. Lots of signage telling bathers not to drink the water and put their towels in the bath. Lovely place. Recommended if you are in the area.

Review: Just an outstanding sento. I wish this place was in my neighborhood. Inside, a single main bath is divided into a few sections, including a great sunflower-style jet. Outside, it offers an enclosed veranda with a treated bath and a well above average cold water bath. There's also a small but powerfully hot steam sauna which was perfect for my painful shoulders. One sign of a good sento is a lot of young people and children, and this one had both. A dry sauna is available for an extra fee. As far as manners go, everyone seemed friendly. Tattoos seemed to be OK. However, please note the sign on the wall says to make sure to completely stop the showers from dripping water, which appears to be a problem here.
Quirks? The kakari basin is called 上がり湯, something I've probably seen but haven't noticed before. Also, there's beer in the changing room vending machine. Nice.

Review: The exterior has been extensively remodeled and made a little fancy with a wooden veranda. This sento is run by a friendly-looking family, and the entrance way seems almost like their living room. Once past the noren and into the changing room, the feel is different and returns to being a typical sento. You can see how sento were built to last for many years by looking at where the original construction interfaces with the remodeled sections. Moving to the baths. There is a main center bath with some other baths in the back, including one I am not sure what it is exactly used for. All the jets were weak, with the entire place needing a refresh as the entrance got. That said, it is not dirty at all. However, there are a few places where the facilities have been extensively used. You can see how water has leaked off the metal on the roof to stain the floor tiles underneath. The cold water here is fine but is a little stagnant feeling. The dry sauna is extra.

Review: The buyout from Yukai Resorts did a lot for their sister location in Neyagawa in the baths; however, not much has changed at the Kadoma facility. In fact, the kakari basin was broken during my visit. I was not impressed with my initial visit here, which has not changed. The huge rock-lined outdoor bath is still nice, but not much else here in terms of bathing. If you come here to enjoy the free drink bar (including soda water, yay!), internet, manga, and relaxation spaces, it is only then worth the cost of entry. If you come here and only take a bath, you'd be better served elsewhere.

** Old Reviews**A fairly basic supersento in an industrial neighborhood of Kadoma city, this member of the Yumoto Iccho chain doesn't even compare to its sister Neyajyu no Yu. The interior is stark and bland. There isn't much in terms of decor. It felt more like a large bath in a mid-range business hotel or a gym. The rotenburo also lacked much in way of decor. The central garden was nice, but it wasn't enough. The baths themselves are fine. A centerpiece is the large rotenburo bath which has a deep, shallow, and extra shallow part. My daughter really loved playing around in that extra shallow area. The tub baths are filled with straight well water at a good cool down temperature. The spring was ok, definitely noticeable as spring water, but not that effective. There were lots of kids, so don't worry about bringing yours and the restaurant seems to be the local drinking spot, so don't worry about downing a few chu-his. I had a good impression from the staff and customers. Kadoma no Yu is being remodeled in March of 2013 so I'm going to have to return.
**UPDATE**After the remodel the baths were pretty much the same but they added a carbonated water bath and cleaned everything up. Nice place overall.
**UPDATE 2019**Name has been changed to Yukai no Yu - Kadoma. Company was bought out by the Yukai no Yu resort chain. The former name was Yumoto Icchou Kado no Yu.

Review*Closed* Natural spring with decent water and good selection of clean, nicely designed baths. A bit pricey at ¥1,000 and also a bit small but overall very good. Not surprised its closed. I thought the cost was prohibitive considering other places in the area offered more baths for cheaper. This place seems more geared to the full day and ganbanyoku style bathers.
Update 2019: Closed as of November 2018, this is a chain with two other supersento in Mie. I did not know that.
